Urgent COVID-19 Appeal
During the COVID-19 pandemic we are still here caring for people with chest, heart and stroke conditions, but we urgently need your donations to keep doing this.
Almost 90% of our services are funded by you, the people of Northern Ireland, which is why we’re making an urgent appeal for your support.
Our friends, family and neighbours with chest, heart and stroke illnesses are more at risk from the effects of COVID-19. Our newly launched COVID-19 Recovery Service will help survivors cope with the physical and psychological effects of the virus. However, it’s crucial that we have ongoing funding support to ensure that we can offer both this and our other vital care services to the 1,200+ people accessing them every week.
Although our face-to-face services have been suspended during the pandemic, we’ve adapted most of these for online delivery, as well as offering phone and postal support. Our Care Team calls provide up-to-date Public Health Agency advice, along with practical tips and activities for maintaining your physical and mental wellbeing.
We’re still ‘caring through COVID’ – we just need your help to keep doing so.
We’re only a phone call away
Our Care Team is on hand to ensure that you and your family and/or carer continue to have someone to talk to and have the support you need throughout the pandemic. We’re working hard to ensure that our services are still accessible and providing vital rehabilitation and self-management support.
