There are two Highway to Health routes in the Strabane District Council area, one in Strabane town and the other in Castlederg. Both routes form a circuit. The Strabane Highway to Health route is unique in that it is the only route in N.I. which directly connects to a Slí na Sláinte route in the South of Ireland. Both Highway to Health and Slí na Sláinte are part of an international walking project.
