Who is Well Team for?
Well Team is a FREE Workplace Health and Wellbeing Support Service, funded by the Public Health Agency (PHA). It is open to small, medium and large workplaces in the Northern HSC Trust area, who are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of their employees in the workplace setting.
What is Well Team?
Well Team is a Workplace Health and Wellbeing Support Service that takes place over 3 stages. It runs on an annual basis, with a new intake of workplaces taking place each June.
Stage 1 – The workplace will complete a Well Team Registration of Interest Form and NICHS will arrange an initial meeting with the workplace contact.
Stage 2 – A Workplace Health and Wellbeing Assessment will be circulated to all staff for completion. This enables the workplace to establish a baseline assessment of staff health needs. Each workplace will identify Workplace Health Champions who will be trained and supported to develop a Health and Wellbeing Action Plan and to disseminate health initiatives based on assessment results.
Stage 3 – Workplaces will be supported to develop a 3 year health and wellbeing policy and be encouraged to apply for local Health and Wellbeing Awards.
