Well Talk in Schools

Secondary School Talks

We offer a range of school talks called Well Talks which link strongly with pupils’ Learning for Life and Work modules.

Why Well Talks?

Well Talks aim to increase participants’ knowledge and awareness about chest, heart and stroke conditions and the lifestyle choices linked to them. The talk gives the participant the opportunity to look at ways to positively change their lifestyle and reduce their chance of ill health.

What are Well Talks?

Well Talks last for one hour.  You can design your own Well Talk to focus on a specific condition and healthy lifestyle topic that interests your students.  It will include a goal setting exercise to challenge the participants to make positive changes to improve their lifestyles.  It is suitable for an assembly or classroom setting.
