3 Week Countdown!
With only 3 weeks to go to the Red Dress Fun Run, we hope up are as excited as we are at NICHS HQ! Places are still filling up and with March around the corner, we hope to see some better weather and brighter days that will encourage even more people to get on their walking shoes and join us on Sunday 22nd March!
We are delighted to have Q Radio presenter and ¼ of The Girls Groupchat podcast, Jordan Arnold, joining us on the day to get you all warmed up and create a fun filled atmosphere!

Get Planning Your Outfit!
Each participant will receive a Red Dress Fun Run T-Shirt in their pack. We strongly encourage you to wear it on the day and to customise it however you like - the crazier the better! Fancy dress is not essential but there will be spot prizes for the best dressed participants on the day – and for the best dressed dogs too!

Pack collection
Your Red Dress Fun Run pack will be available for collection from NICHS office at 21 Dublin Road, Belfast, BT2 7HB on the following dates and times:
- Friday 13th March 2026 10am - 4pm
- Monday 16th March 2026 9am – 4.30pm
- Wednesday 18th March 2026 4pm-7pm
In order to collect your pack please ensure you have all the names and required sizes of the people you are collecting for.
If the above dates and times do not suit, please get in touch via events@nichs.org.uk and we will do our best to find a time that works for you.

Putting the 'Fun' into Fundraising!
|
Thank you so much to everyone who has already kicked off their fundraising! The generosity of the public never ceases to amaze us. We are seeing some fantastic amounts coming in and every single penny is really does make a big difference helping us to fund vital local services across Northern Ireland.

Almost 90% of our income come from voluntary donations meaning we can only deliver our services thanks to the support of people like you.

Fundraising Support
You can also fundraise in the more traditional way by holding an in-person fundraiser in the lead up to the event. Why not host a themed coffee morning or ‘wear red day’ in your work, school or club? We can provide you with branded items such as balloons, banners and sponsor forms. If you need any items to help boost your fundraising, please get in touch by emailing events@nichs.org.uk and we will happily get you sorted.
Why Your Fundraising is so Important!
NICHS estimates that at least 400,000 people in Northern Ireland, or 1 in 4, are living with chest, heart or stroke conditions, but it could be much more as many people are undiagnosed.
Our aim is to prevent these devastating conditions, while ensuring the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of those affected and their families. We simply couldn’t do this without supporters like you.
By taking part in the Red Dress Fun Run and raising much-needed funds, you’ll be helping people like Nicky and Alice across Northern Ireland....

Nicky's Story
Nicky Goodall and his sons Daniel and Matthew, 4, are taking part in our Red Dress Fun Run in memory of their beloved wife and mum, Dympna. Dympna tragically passed away in November 2021 with undiagnosed dilated cardiomyopathy. She was just 34 years old.

Alice's Story
Alice Cinnamond had a stroke at just 29 and is supporting the Red Dress Fun Run to raise awareness that stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. Following her stroke, Alice received support from our Family Support service and walked our Red Dress Fun Run in 2024, and in 2025 she ran it!
