World Stroke Day

Thursday 29th October 2026 marks World Stroke Day and this year we are asking you to help us make a difference to the lives of people affected by a stroke.

A stroke can happen suddenly and can have a life changing impact on the individual and their family.

The journey to recovery can be challenging and emotional and our Care Services Team are there to provide support and guidance to those impacted when they need it most.

Without the vital support MACE NI have provided to us over the last 10 years we would not have been able to continue providing our vital services.

This World Stroke Day we are encouraging MACE NI to come together to support those affected by stroke. Whether you host an instore collection, organise a fundraising activity or simply set-up an information stand, your support will help us raise awareness of stroke.

If you are interested in hosting an event in support of World Stroke Day please contact our Corporate Fundraising Team on corporate@nichs.org.uk.
