If you have already kicked off your fundraising, then thank you! We are seeing some fantastic amounts coming in and every single penny really does make a big difference, helping us to fund vital local services across Northern Ireland.

If you haven’t got going yet, Valentines weekend could be the perfect time to start spreading the love!

How To Get Started:

  1. Visit our JustGiving Red Dress Fun Run page by clicking here.
  2. Click Start Fundraising and set up your page – it only takes a few minutes.
  3. Share your personal link on your socials and ask all your friends and family to show some love this Valentines by sponsoring you!

Fundraising Support

You can also fundraise in the more traditional way by holding an in person fundraiser in the lead up to the event.

February is World Heart Month so a great time to host a themed coffee morning or ‘wear red day’ in your work, school or club!

We can provide you with branded items such as balloons, banners and sponsor forms.

If you need any items to help boost your fundraising, please get in touch by emailing events@nichs.org.uk and we will happily get you sorted.

Why Your Fundraising is so Important!

At least 400,000 people in Northern Ireland, or 1 in 4, are living with chest, heart or stroke conditions, but it could be much more as many people are undiagnosed. Our aim is to prevent these devastating conditions, while ensuring the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of those affected and their families. We simply couldn’t do this without supporters like you.

Thanks to Lucy McAleese, 22, who kindly allowed us to share her story of living with a rare heart disease. Lucy’s experience highlights just how important early support, research and care can be.

By taking part in the Red Dress Fun Run and raising much-needed funds, you’ll be helping people like Lucy across Northern Ireland — and supporting research that could shape future treatments for heart disease.
