Thank you to all of our a-MACE-ing Mace Stores who supported NICHS in 2025! From cake sales to static cycles, ‘Go Red Days’ to Christmas Karaoke Events, you all helped us celebrate our 9th year in partnership with style! Across Northern Ireland MACE stores helped us raised an amazing £15,669.50 for local people living with chest, heart & stroke conditions. Fundraiser Milestones
We are delighted to celebrate with MACE Lurgan for their incredible achievement in raising £20,000 for NICHS since the beginning of our partnership. Anthony McDonald, alongside the Mace Lurgan Staff and Customers are the first store to reach this amazing milestone in support of local people impacted by chest, heart & stroke conditions. We want to extend a HUGE heart-felt thank you to everyone at Mace Lurgan for their incredible efforts and continued support.

In-Store Events & BP Checks
2026 has got off to a flying start with 13 stores hosting in-store Blood Pressure Checks and Events! Thank you to the following stores for your support to our BP Campaign: ❤️ Mace Newmills hosted a pop-up Blood Pressure check on 1st April 2026
❤️ Mace Mount Alverno who hosted a pop-up Blood Pressure check on 14th May 2026

❤️ Mace Greenisland & Mace Portavogie who both hosted pop-up Blood Pressure Checks on 21st May
❤️ Mace Ballinderry who hosted a pop-up Blood Pressure check on 2nd June
❤️ Mace Lurgan who hosted a pop-up Blood Pressure Check on 3rd June
❤️ Mace Armoy who hosted a pop-up Blood Pressure check and Static Cycle on 3rd June

80th Anniversary Mighty Mournes Challenge
Saturday 12th September 2026 Pick your peak and push your limits in our brand new hiking event, now open for registrations! Choose between conquering Slieve Donard or tackling three peaks in one day — Slieve Donard, Slieve Commedagh and Slievenaglogh. From first-time hikers to seasoned adventurers, this is your chance to challenge yourself while supporting people affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions. You can come by yourself or gather your friends, family, sports team or work colleagues. Whoever you bring it is sure to be a day to remember!

Belfast City Half Marathon
Sunday 20th September 2026 The Belfast City Half Marathon is Northern Ireland's BIGGEST half marathon. This 13.1 mile route is ideal for first time Half Marathon entrants or a great progressionary route for those who have completed a 10K or Team Relay distance from the Belfast City Marathon and want to set a new distance goal. General sale for the Half Marathon has now sold out however we have secured a limited number of charity places available so get in touch!

Our Annual Blood Pressure Campaign
During May and June, our annual blood pressure awareness campaign, supported by MACE, has been running across NI. 1 in 2 heart attacks & strokes are linked to high blood pressure. High blood pressure often has no visible signs or symptoms. It is therefore important to get your blood pressure checked, get treatment if necessary, and change your lifestyle if your blood pressure numbers are high. A big thank you to MACE and stores who hosted free pop up checks for your support of the campaign. Find out more
