Pick a Peak and Push Your Limits!
Join us in marking Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke’s 80th anniversary by taking on a brand new adventure in the Mourne Mountains
This unique event invites supporters to choose between taking on one peak or three mountains on Saturday 12th September 2026.
Whether it’s your first summit or you’re ready for a full mountain day, this challenge is all about pushing yourself and making a real difference for people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions across Northern Ireland.
Our expert guides will lead you through some of NI’s most iconic landscapes. The 3 Peak route takes you up Slieve Donard via the Glen River, across to Slieve Commedagh, then along the ridge to Slievenaglogh before descending by the Trassey Track into Tollymore and back through Donard Forest.
Please note: This is a demanding mountain challenge with significant elevation; participants should have a good level of fitness.
Time: 9:00am arrival for registration & hike to begin at 9:30am
Location: Slieve Donard Car Park
Approximate Duration: 5-6 Hours (for 1 peak) or 10 hours (for 3 peaks)*
*Please Note - These times are approximate and will depend on the group on the day.
Registration fee: £45pp
Registration fee includes:
- Branded NICHS T-shirt & Beanie
- Qualified Outdoor Instructors leading the hike
- Commemorative 80th Anniversary Medal
- Post Hike Refreshments
