Pick a Peak and Push Your Limits!

Join us in marking Northern Ireland Chest Heart & Stroke’s 80th anniversary by taking on a brand new adventure in the Mourne Mountains

Choose between a one peak challenge up Northern Ireland's highest mountain, Slieve Donard,, ideal for recreational hikers or the more physical three peak adventure for a full-day mountain hike for experienced walkers.

This unique event invites supporters to choose between taking on one peak or three mountains on Saturday 12th September 2026.

Lead by qualified outdoor instructors this event is a rewarding personal challenge where every step you take helps support people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions across Northern Ireland.

Whether it’s your first summit or you’re ready for a full mountain day, this challenge is all about pushing yourself and making a real difference for people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions across Northern Ireland.

Choose Your Challenge

1 Peak Challenge

Perfect if you’re new to mountain hiking or looking for a shorter challenge.
• Approximate duration: 5–6 hours
• Minimum fundraising target: £150

3 Peaks Challenge

A demanding full-day trek through some of Northern Ireland’s most iconic landscapes.

The route includes:
• Slieve Donard
• Slieve Commedagh
• Slievenaglogh

before descending via the Trassey Track into Tollymore and Donard Forest.

• Approximate duration: 10 hours
• Minimum fundraising target: £300

Please note: this is a strenuous mountain challenge and participants should have a good level of fitness.
