Take part in an Event
With almost 90% of our services reliant on funding from members of the public, we urgently need your help to continue making a difference to people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions in Northern Ireland.
You can help us by taking part in an event to raise vital funds for our ongoing work, which we’re still delivering during the pandemic. This includes our care and support services – adapted for online, postal and phone delivery due to COVID-19 – along with our COVID-19 Recovery Service for survivors recuperating after the virus.
Are you up for a challenge?
Whether you want to run, swim, jump, bike or hike, we would love you to join #TeamNICHS to continue the fight against chest, heart and stroke conditions in Northern Ireland. Check out our events below and get signed up.
If you have any questions about any of the events please contact our events team at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call us on (028) 9032 0184.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many of our usual fundraising events being restricted and yet, more people than ever are relying on our services at this time. Thousands of people with chest, heart and stroke conditions in Northern Ireland depend on our care and support, however, we need your help.
Setting up a virtual collection is a great way to help us raise much-needed funds during the ongoing pandemic if other fundraising activities can’t take place. As a result, you’ll be ensuring that we can keep providing vital services, which we’ve adapted for online, phone and postal delivery, giving service users important advice and rehabilitative support.
Your generosity will also help fund our COVID-19 Recovery Service, which helps people recovering from the physical and psychological effects of the virus and supports them in rebuilding their lung and general health.
How to raise money online
To set up a virtual collection just follow these three simple steps:
- Set up a JustGiving or Facebook Fundraiser page.
- Add a few details about who you’re raising money for and why.
- Share the link online with friends and family to start collecting funds.
Your support makes a huge difference
The challenges of COVID-19 continue to have a higher impact on the most vulnerable within our community. Meanwhile, those with chest, heart and stroke conditions are more at risk from the effects of the virus so they need our support now more than ever.
Setting up a virtual collection will ensure that we can keep helping the thousands of people in Northern Ireland who rely on us and provide the information and practical support they need. Almost 90% of our funds come from you and we urgently need your help so we can continue to provide our vital services.
If you prefer not to do one of the above events, or just like to do your own thing, you are welcome to organise your own event to raise funds to help us support families across Northern Ireland affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions.
