Go the distance for #TeamNICHS at the Belfast City Marathon 2026!

Take on Northern Ireland’s biggest running event and experience the buzz of the Belfast City Marathon! Starting at Stormont Estate and finishing in Ormeau Park, the route takes you through the heart of the city, past famous landmarks and vibrant neighbourhoods, all cheered on by incredible local support.

Ben McCullough, who took on the Belfast Marathon in 2025, said “Running the marathon in honour of my dad, who has suffered three TIA strokes, made every step worthwhile. He ran the Belfast Marathon back in 2009 and 2011, so it felt really special to follow in his footsteps while raising awareness for others affected by chest, heart and stroke conditions. Seeing my dad’s face at the finish line brought all the emotion of the day flooding in — it’s a moment I’ll never forget!”

We had secured a limited number of charity places, and due to overwhelming interest, these have now all been filled. If you are still interested in taking part, keep an eye out on Belfast Marathon's website as they may announce more spots for sale to the public in the coming weeks.
