When someone close to you experiences a stroke, heart attack, or is diagnosed with a chest or heart condition, it changes your life too.
As a caregiver, it can be difficult to balance your own wellbeing with your role, and to find information or advice specific to your situation.
This is why we are currently developing a new video education service for caregivers to provide support and guidance within your caring role.

The new service will offer a series of videos featuring healthcare professionals, such as a Stroke, Cardiac and Respiratory Nurse Specialist, a Physiotherapist, Speech & Language Therapist and a Pharmacist. The videos also feature NICHS staff and carers themselves.
The videos provide information, advice and commonly asked questions are answered, specifically for caregivers of people living with chest, heart and stroke conditions.
This service will be launching in Autumn 2025.
In the meantime, to get more information about all of our support which is available to you and the person you care for, and to be the first to access our Caregivers programme when it becomes available, please fill out a referral form by clicking on the button below.
