Join the Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke team for a stunning Sunday stroll as we take a trip down memory lane and celebrate the lives of those who will remain in our hearts forever. At this beautiful location we will reflect, remember and walk together to help change local lives now and save them in the future.
Setting off from the beautiful surroundings of Hazelbank Park, we will take in the sights and sounds of the magnificent Coronation Garden before we walk 1.8 miles to Jordanstown Loughshore Park to enjoy some magical musical entertainment at the bandstand. Our return journey takes us back to Hazelbank Park where we will write messages of love to those no longer with us on our NICHS Always In My Heart Memory Wall.
This event is a very special gathering for all ages and abilities and absolutely everyone is welcome to come along - including four-legged friends on leads. Enjoy the picturesque views across Belfast Lough, breathe in the sea air and take some time out to reflect and share happy memories with old friends and new.

This event is in special tribute to local hotelier David Magill who volunteered generously and selflessly for us for over 30 years. David first began his NICHs relationship when he agreed to chair the Glengormley Fundraising Support Group. Little could he have known that over three decades later he would have helped raise over £350,000 for our cause through a wide range of events and activities. He was deservedly awarded the MBE in 2005, which he accepted on behalf of all the volunteers. David sadly passed away in November 2021 but is very fondly remembered by all his friends at NICHS, which is why we have chosen to walk in his footsteps, along his favourite route, in honour of all those who like David are kind, generous and caring, and leave a lasting legacy of a desire to help others.
Registration fee: Adult £10 NB when signing up you only need to pay for any adults aged 18 and over but do please let us know how many under 18s will be attending with you for event numbers. Suggested minimum fundraising target of £50pp or £100 per family.
