Why Amanda and her family and friends will be taking part ...

Amanda with friends and family RDFR 2022

My husband Barney experienced some heart attack symptoms, but he didn't tell anyone. I believe if he had gone to get checked out I wouldn't be sitting here as a widow today.

I took part in the Red Dress Fun Run 2023 & 2024 along with lots of my family members and friends to help raise vital funds for the charity's work as well as raising awareness of heart health amongst the local community.

Our entire family now have the running bug thanks to the Red Dress Fun Run and personally I found it a great motivator to keep fit and healthy, mentally as well as physically.
